Van Vleck Student Council will be hosting its LAST blood drive of the year Friday, May 13th. There will be a mobile unit at the high school from 9:30am to 3:15pm. If you would like to donate, please contact Michelle Pena at mpena@vvisd.org so that she can place you on the sign up sheet or follow the link that lets you automatically sign up. The mobile unit will be set up by the teacher parking lot. If you want your blood tested for antibodies, they will do it for free. If you donated at the last blood drive, you are not eligible for this one.

VVHS Prom Location Update:
The Van Vleck High School Prom will be held at the Bay City Country Club on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 8:00pm - 12:00am.
Winter Spirit Week December 13-17
Due to district wide early release on 11/12/21, adjustments in start time for the pep are necessary. As a result, start time for the VVHS Pep Rally will be 9:00am this Friday, November 12.

The VVHS Cheerleaders would like to thank everyone who bought Pink Out shirts this year. Unfortunately, due to Covid, there have been some production and shipping delays with Gandy Ink and the shirts won't be here in time for the game on Friday. Luckily, the shirts aren't dated and will be able to be used for Pink Out events in the future. Your shirts will be delivered to you as soon as they arrive. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The yearbook staff will commemorate the Astros making the World Series in the yearbook. Please send in photos of your family in Astros gear or attending an Astros game. VVHS will conduct a morning pep rally this Friday, October 22, in the VVHS Gym. The pep rally will begin promptly at 8:30am.

Van Vleck High School’s 2021 Homecoming Pep Rally will be held at Burl McKinney Stadium at 2:40pm on Friday, October 15. Family members are welcome to attend, park in the home side parking lot behind the Junior High, and report directly to the stadium.
