Due to the predicted wintery blast lasting until Wednesday midday, Van Vleck Independent School District will be closed Tuesday, January 21st AND Wednesday, January 22nd.

Today, January 20, 2025, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday marks the 30th anniversary as a National Day of Service. This day was established to honor the life and legacy of Dr. King, and to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities.

Van Vleck ISD proudly announces that Stephen Jimenez was approved for hire, a 19.5 year law enforcement professional, as the district’s new Chief Of Police. This comes after the retirement of Chief Fred Wesselski.
Congratulations to Mrs. Krysten Carey, VVHS math teacher, who earned the prestigious title of National Board Certified Teacher recently. We are so proud of her and appreciate her dedication and commitment to our students!
