Van Vleck ISD extends our warmest farewell and congratulations to Van Vleck ISD Police Chief Fred Wesselski on his recent retirement. He is a positive and remarkable leader who has served Van Vleck ISD with distinction since 2012. He began working security for VVISD sporting events and then was hired full time in 2018 when he made history by leading the formation of the VVISD Police Department. Chief Wesselski’s commitment and dedication have been a driving force within the department, inspiring his colleagues to strive for excellence. His leadership has earned him the respect and admiration of all who have had the privilege of working alongside him. As he embarks on a well-deserved retirement of 30 years service in law enforcement, we remain committed to continuing his legacy of excellence and making him proud. We wish he and his wife all best in their future adventures.
