On Thursday, March 7th, our second grade students presented a choir program entitled Celebrate Texas for our school. While dressed in their red, white, and blue western attire, the children lead everyone in the pledges to the American and Texas flags and sang nine songs including Texas, Our Texas, The Yellow Rose of Texas, Deep in the Heart of Texas, Don’t Fence Me In, and the Ballad of Davy Crockett. The second graders also performed the program for their families at 6:30 in the auditorium and did an amazing job!!
