Beginning on Monday, April 25, Van Vleck Elementary will be welcoming parents/guardians to campus for lunch times. We appreciate all your patience in the process of making this possible once again. As we open up the building for parents to attend lunch, we want to communicate clearly the rules and guidelines that we will have in place.

Medical /Health Advisory Guidelines:
\r\nAll visitors must adhere to the VVISD Illness Protocol that can be found here at this link. (click).
\r\nPlease do not make plans to enter the building if:
\r\n1. You are actively sick
\r\n2. You have recently been diagnosed with a communicable disease and have not been released by a doctor.
\r\n3. You have had fever, vomiting, or diarrhea in the last 24 hours.

Check-In Procedures & Rules:
\r\nMake sure to have your I.D. and check-in at the front office.
The person MUST be listed in the parent portal in order to have lunch with the student.
Please make sure to update the information PRIOR to coming into the front office.
Parents, Guardians, etc, please come during your student's designated lunch times. We cannot pull a student early or later from their instructional day to have lunch with a visitor. Visitors will be let into the building at the appropriate time.
Parents, Guardians, etc, may only have lunch with their own student(s), and can only bring food for their own student(s).
Parents, Guardians, etc, can walk with their student(s) to the foyer area upon them going back to class. We cannot allow you to walk them to their classroom.
Parents, Guardians, etc, will have designated tables for them to sit with their child.
Not all students are allowed to have their picture taken at school, so please do not take pictures in the cafeteria. Pictures can be taken in front of the VVE signage in the foyer area ONLY.

*Parents/Guardians...Be mindful and respectful that our lunch duty monitors are there to supervise the students and ensure the guidelines are followed by all parties.
