The “Great Egg Drop of 2018” was so fun and interesting! Students, teachers, and parents are always waiting to see what idea everyone comes up with so their egg will survive the drop from high in the air. Due to the rainy weather, we could not drop the eggs from the roof. Instead, maintenance brought a lift over for Ms. Roper to stand in, raise up, and drop the eggs from high above. As students yelled, “Drop
that egg! Drop that egg!” Ms. Roper dropped each package. The sound effects were great. You either heard clapping or the dreaded, “Oh no!! That didn’t sound good”. Either way, the teachers applauded all of their students for trying. All students received a certificate that said, “Your egg survived” or “Your egg got scrambled”. Lots of fun and a great lesson!
