On Tuesday the Leopard Players Student Congress Team traveled to El Campo HS to compete in the Region 3 Contest. We want to give a huge shout out to Noah & Sebron for being awesome team members. Although they didn't get to actively debate this time, their excellent research efforts & speech collaboration helped move our competitors forward.
Of the 4 competitors who were actively involved in the sessions, 3 broke to finals and the 4th missed the break by 1 point!
Congratulations to Chris for his work as Presiding Officer in prelims, to Emily, Andrea & Gaven for breaking to finals, & once again to Emily for placing 1st & qualifying for State Student Congress!
Emily is the new 3A Region 3 Student Congress Champion and will represent Region 3 & VVHS in Austin in January!
